If you’re an allergy sufferer living in Louisville, KY, unfortunately you can expect a particularly rough allergy season this year. The city ranks number one on Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America‘s “2014 Spring Allergy Capitals,” an annual research project the organization uses to identify the “100 most challenging cities to live with allergies” in the United States during the spring and fall seasons.

Each year, the AAFA measures and compares data that includes pollen scores, allergy medications used per patient, and number of allergy specialists per patient. Where does your city rank? The top 10 cities and their corresponding allergy scores include:

  1. Louisville, KY – 100.00
  2. Memphis, TN – 97.10
  3. Baton Rouge, LA – 91.93
  4. Oklahoma City, OK – 91.19
  5. Jackson, MS – 90.61
  6. Chattanooga, TN – 90.18
  7. Dallas, TX – 88.82
  8. Richmond, VA – 88.68
  9. Birmingham, AL – 87.71
  10. McAllen, TX – 87.61
